We had our very first OurSay Participant Advisory Group meeting recently – and it was a big success!
Why we have OurSay: OurSay is a group where the people we support can share their ideas and have a real say in how we do things. It helps us make sure that your voices shape our services, activities, and communication.
What we did at the first meeting:
- We talked about how the group will work together (our Terms of Reference).
- We looked at the participant survey and came up with great ways to make it better.
- We shared ideas for events and activities that people would enjoy.
- We even came up with the idea of using QR codes so people can quickly share feedback or raise an issue.
It was a fun morning with lots of teamwork, ideas, and laughter.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined in. Your ideas are so important, and together we will keep improving the way we do things.
This is just the start – we can’t wait to see what the OurSay team does next!
