Your NDIS Support Options
We support all NDIS funding management options, giving you flexibility in how you access and pay for your supports.
Agency-Managed
With agency-managed funding, the NDIA pays providers directly on your behalf.
- You can choose registered providers like Alifa
- We submit claims directly through the NDIS portal
- No invoicing or payment handling required from you
This is a simple, low-administration option where payments are handled for you.
Plan-Managed
If you choose plan management, a registered plan manager helps you manage your funding.
- Your plan manager pays invoices on your behalf
- You can access registered and for some services non-registered providers
- Budget tracking and financial reporting are included
Alifa will send invoices to your plan manager, who will process payment for you.
Self-Managed
Self-management gives you full control and flexibility over your funding.
This option allows you to:
- Choose any provider that suits your needs
- Negotiate pricing and supports
- Decide how your funding is spent to meet your goals
With this flexibility comes responsibility, including:
- Managing your funding and budget
- Negotiating and purchasing supports
- Claiming and paying for services
- Meeting employer obligations (if applicable)
- Meeting NDIS requirements
People who self-manage their funding can engage Alifa for some or all of their supports. We will invoice you after services are delivered, and you can then claim reimbursement through the NDIS.
Shared Management
If you would like more involvement with managing your services, without added burdens, Alifa can work in partnership with you.
- You choose and employ your support workers
- You decide on how your supports are structured
- Alifa takes care of your payroll, NDIS documentation and reporting so you don’t have to.
