About Alifa
More Than Support – It's About Belonging
Alifa was founded Nicki and Warwick, business and life partners with a simple belief: everyone deserves to feel safe, connected, valued, and supported to live life their way.
Living in Perth with four children and 2 dogs, community has always been at the heart of who they are. In fact, the name Alifa was created from an anagram of our children’s names. It reflects the family values that inspired us to create an organisation built on connection, belonging, respect, and genuine relationships.
Nicki’s background spans disability, aged care, dementia, mental health, and community development across Australia and the UK. Warwick brings decades of experience in property development, construction, and creating quality homes. Together, we combined our passions to create Alifa an organisation that supports people not only in their homes, but also in their communities and everyday lives.
Our Team Rocks!
We really are a passionate bunch.
Our team brings experience, creativity, vibrancy, and energy to everything we do. We know when to step in and take the lead, and when to step back so you can do things your way. We believe support should build confidence, independence, and opportunities — not create barriers.
Most importantly, we genuinely care about the people we support and the lives they want to live.
Our Approach
We believe life is about more than services and support hours.
Whether we’re supporting someone in their own home, helping them connect with their community, or providing a place to live, our focus is on helping people build meaningful lives, friendships, and natural supports around them. We look at the whole person their goals, interests, health, wellbeing, relationships, and aspirations. Because life isn’t just about getting through the day; it’s about enjoying it.

Working Together
The best outcomes happen when people work together.
We collaborate closely with participants, families, support coordinators, therapists, and existing service providers to ensure supports are connected, consistent, and centred around the individual.
Our role isn’t to take over. It’s to work alongside the people already in your life, helping create the right supports while ensuring you remain in control of the decisions that matter to you.
Looking Ahead
We’re proud to be a family-owned organisation and we’re committed to ensuring sustainability and growing thoughtfully, without losing what makes Alifa special. As we develop and grow, our vision remains the same: creating opportunities for people to live fulfilling lives, develop genuine friendships, feel part of their communities, and experience the sense of belonging that everyone deserves.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the associated expenses and funding options?
The annual cost of the supported living may be covered as a combination of flexible and stated supports, this may be through SIL, ILO or flexible core. Alifa will work with Support Coordinators to understand individual needs of participants and to develop a quote. The cost covers the support service and does not include other accommodation costs such as rent (this will be through a separate lodging agreement), bills, food and personal items. The rent does not exceed NDIS recommendations and is generally covered through rental assistance and a percentage of your disability pension.
Would I need to share my home?
Most of our homes have been developed with the intention that they will be shared with one other. This helps with sharing costs such as rent and bills and provides social interactions and engagements. We take time to match people together around their shared interests and suitability to live together. The homes accommodate private bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas to allow for space alone if and when required.
There are also options for single occupancy dwellings. Talk with us around your unique needs and we can let you know if our homes and support approach will suit you.
Can I have my own support provider?
Absolutely. We know people have trusted relationships that have been built over time and we work in partnership with your chosen support provider and closely with your support coordinators and therapy teams.
